This project involved a second storey addition to a 1930’s character cottage.
An existing anti-space in the centre of the home was used to accommodate the staircase which rises into a towering void.
The new second storey includes a large Parent’s retreat comprising of a Bedroom entry foyer, Main Bedroom, Ensuite with double-shower and make-up station, and both His & Hers Dressing Rooms. The addition also includes a new Sitting Room and an Office.
The addition was constructed on an aerated concrete floor base and is finished with a brick-veneer exterior. High ceilings, ornate moldings, and timber leadlight windows replicated and blend with the original home.
