The client brief was to provide a modern single-storey residence incorporating solar passive design principles to make best use of its north-west, ocean-facing orientation. Built boundary-to-boundary the full 10m2 frontage incorporates the expansive living areas which can be fully-opened for seamless integration with the outdoors. The sleeping accommodation was designed to the quiet, rear of the home and the main entry is entered via a rear access road.
